Nevada Democratic Accessibility Caucus

The purpose of the Nevada Democratic Accessibility Caucus (NVDAC) is to create a supportive, safe community inside the Nevada State Democratic Party for Democrats with accessibility issues and those they share their life with. As well as advocate for legislation that will help people with accessibility issues and those they share their life will; recruit and support Democratic candidates who have accessibility issues, share their lives with people who accessibility issues; and assist in registering Nevadan voters.

We host events that support Democrats with accessibility issues, and democratic candidates that have or support accessibility issues.

We inform and educate Democrats and Democratic Candidates on the challenges people with accessibility issues and those they share their lives with endure. 

We lobby for the creation and passage of laws promoting the rights, inclusion, and dignity of all persons with accessibility issues and those they share their lives with.

We promote active participation in all areas of government from local to national, including electoral volunteering, lobbying, running for political office as a Democrat, donating/fundraising for Democratic political groups and candidates.

We establish partnerships with other political entities seeking to elect Democratic candidates and register voters in Nevada

We build a community that fights for the needs, rights, and dignity of persons with accessibility issues and those they share their lives with.
